Se’Si’Le, in collaboration with MIT (Department of Anthropology) will prepare an article for scholarly journals as well as the general public. It will document the groundbreaking effort by members of the Lummi Indian Tribe to deploy the Native American Graves and Repatriation Act to secure the release and return of the killer whale Sk'ali'Chelh-tenaut (aka Tokitae or Lolita) to her home waters in the Salish Sea.
